Wright State University Lake Lakers completed their trip to Alice Lloyd College on Sunday with a single 9 inning contest after spliting the opening DH on Saturday. The Lakers were victorious in the rubber match by a score of 13-10.

The Eagles and Lakers played an adventurous third game in the series, ultimately ending in favor of the Lakers by a score of 13-10. The Eagles lead by scores of 5-0 (4th inning) and 9-3 (7th innning) before the late Laker rally. Lakers starter Dan Borchers pitched 6.1 innings and surrendered 6 runs (4 earned) before giving way to relievers Casey Grimm and Chase Ruiz. The Lakers found themselves trailing 9-6 with two outs in the ninth inning before rallying with 7 hits and a walk to take a 13-9 lead, before Ruiz finished the game with a score of 13-10. Adding hits (8 total) in the 9th inning were Isaac Fitzgerald (2), Tristan Becker, Quintin Cantelli, Connor Burr, Dustin Lewis, Billy Lanman and Chad Anders.
The Lakers were led by Fitzgerald with 4 hits and 2 RBIs, as well as Burr with 3 hits and 2 RBIs. Also adding to the Laker offense were Lewis (2 hits and 2 RBIs), Anders (2 hits and 2 RBIs), and Ronaldo Acosta (1 hit and 2 RBIs).
