The Lakers are World Series Bound for the 4th year in a row! The Lakers 20-11 on the year had an overall team batting average of .326 and .331 in conference play as one of the leading teams in batting. This Year's World Series Squad led by Seniors Tyler Venters, Isaac Fitzgerald and Connor Burr look to go further in the tournament toward the title. Stephen Hoendorf leads the team in batting and homeruns with 3 and a.408 avaerage while Dustin Lewis .(375) Noah Greathouse (.366) and Conor Schmitt .339 also lead the offensive attack from the plate. Pitching was also stellar as the overall ERA was 4.28. Lucas Sheriff (5-2 4.15) led the team in wins. Cross Youtsler who threw a no-hitter late in the season is tops on the team in ERA at 3.33 and a 4-1 win- loss record. Noah Greathouse chipped in (4-2 4.63). The Lakers travel to Dubois Pennslyvania on Saturday May 11th and open up play May 13th vs. #5 seed Mississippi University for Women.
