Lakers Lose WS Game 4. Season Comes to an End

The Lakers looking to stave off elimination could not stop the hot hitting Bobcats of Bryant & Stratton (Albany) losing 15-4 thus ending their World Series run. Parker Link started the game going 4.0 innings giving up 7 runs on 9 hits while striking out 3. Ryan Barker pitched an inning and gave 2 runs while Tanner Crowle also in relief gave up 4 runs. Issac Fitzgerald closing out his collegiate career pitched an inning giving up two runs on 2 hits striking out 1. Connor Burr also seeing his collegiate caeer come to an end went 2 for 3. Dustin Lewis and Carter Cooper had an RBI each. Notably Tyler Venters went 1 for 2 and scored a run in his last game of his collegiate career. The Lakers finish the year with 22 wins while losing 13 and will have plenty of experience coming back next year and will look forward to another World Series run!
