Lakers Emerge victorious against Southern State

Marquis Wilson scored 20 points to bring Wright State Lake to a 89-76 victory over Southern State on Saturday.
Lakers put points on the board early, claiming a 46-36 lead at the half.
Wilson was strong from the field for Wright State Lake, making 82% (9-for-11) of shots attempted.
Austin James (14 points), Vernon Montgomery (13 points), and Cj Taylor (11 points) each had multiple three-pointers. Two other players also racked up double digit scores for Wright State Lake. DaeShawn Beasley racked up 18 points and Josh Florence put up 13 points. Beasley was a big defensive contributor as well, racking up eight rebounds, two steals and two blocks.
Wright State Lake finished the game with 32 rebounds (13 offensive / 19 defensive), three blocks and 14 steals.
