Coach Westerlund said, "I loved the way we defended tonight. Our first shot defense was superb, we have to do a better job rebounding the basketball. Their best offense was on the glass. All that said I am really proud of my guys and the way we competed. We have grown so much this semester. We are going to look to finish this season strong."

Game 2: OCU 93 vs Wright State Lake 59

The last game of the season the Lakers came out started the game strong taking a 5-0 lead through first 3 minutes. At the 10 minute mark Wright State Lake was down 11-9 to the Mighty Oaks, and after that OCU never looked back. OCU took a 48-28 lead at the half, and much like Saturday the Mighty Oaks best offense was on the offensive glass.

The Lakers offense stalled today with only 7 assists opposed to OCU's 24 assists. OCU held the advantage on the glass again 51-38. WSU-L shot only 33 percent from the field compared to OCU 49 percent.

The Lakers were led by Kain Luthman's 22 points and 6 rebounds and Seamus Anglin's 11 points and 7 rebounds.

Coach Westerlund said, "Back to backs have been tough for us this year, our offense stalled today because we lacked ball movement and player movement. I thought defensively our first shot defense was again really solid. They didn't get much against us when we had our half court defense set, but we need to work to finish possessions."

Coach Westerlund on the season, "I love this group of guys and the way they committed to the process. We have grown so much over this semester. I am looking forward to an elite offseason. We will keep embracing the process."
