Laker Men played in The University of Rio Grande Bevo Francis Tournament taking 2nd place in the tournament. The Lakers played University of Rio Grande upending them 74-70 and played the University of Michigan Dearborn for the championship but came out on the losing end 89-58. Charles Aden scored 29 points in the first game and was named to the All Tournament Team.
