The Lady Lakers come into the 2018-19 season optimistic as it continues to move forward in producing a solid women's program. The Lady Lakers will be led by sophmore captains Kelsie Hunt (8.2ppg 5.2rpg) and Mikayla Stump (7.3 ppg 36% 3pt). Kelsie will provide inside scoring and rebounding and Mikayla will stretch the defense with her outside shooting. The rest of the Lady Laker squad will feature lone senior Amanda Godinho and 6 freshman. Kayla Kendrick and Ka'rina Mallory will be the table setters sharing point guard duties. Kenadee Dixon, Mikayla Recker and Kassie Menchhofer will play the wing positions. Marcedes Zeisloft will anchor the middle and will add more inside scoring and rebounding. " We will be a lot quicker in the backcourt and will look to run a lot more said Coach Lanier. It may be challenging as a young team but we will come in each game and play hard"! The Lady Lakers open the season at home October 30th against Grace College (Indiana).
