Four runs in the top of the sixth helped WSULC Lakers close its deficit to 5-4. A home run by Nealeigh gave the Lakers life. Mefford ended the inning by getting Tristan Becker to ground out, however.

It didn't take long for Edison CC to answer as it scored eight runs of its own in the sixth. Edison CC scored on an RBI single by Olmo, an RBI single by Quniones, a two-run single by Negron, a two-run home run by Neff, a sacrifice fly by Moss, and a solo home run by Shamblin.

An RBI single by Derek Waterman, an RBI single by Dillon Bell, an RBI single by Isaac Fitzgerald, a hit by pitch, an error, and a walk by Storm Wolter triggered the Lakers' comeback. However, the comeback just was not enough.

The fifth inning saw the Lakers score its only run on the day on a passed ball.
