Lakers Fall in game one of the World Series

The #3 seeded Lakers lost to Penn State Dubois 9 to 1 in the first game of the World Series. With the game tied 1-1 Starting Pitcher Casey Grimm left in the 4th inning with an apparent arm injury and Lucas Sheriff came in relief. Sheriff walked in 2 runs and another two runs were scored on base hits.  Chase Ruiz was inserted in relief and walked in another run. Penn State scored 3 more unanswered runs for the win.  The Lakers take on The College of St. Joseph today at 1:30pm.
