Lakers Drop Game 2 of The World Series

The Lakers entered Game 2 confident against #1 seed Apprentice School and gave them all they can handle but came up short on a walk off single 5-4. The Lakers fell behind early 4-1 but battled back to tie to the score at 4 going into the late innings. Isaac Fitzgerald led the attack going 3 for 4 with 2RBI's Dustin Lewis 2 for 5 on the day and Stephen Hoendorf knocked in a run each. Lucas Sheriff started and pitched 5.1 innings scattering 6 hits gave up 4 runs and striking out 1 batter before giving way to Noah Greathouse who pitched to one batter and Ryan Barker who pitched 1.2 innings walking a batter and gave up a run. The Lakers look to hold off elimination playing Bluefield State tomorrow at 10:00am.
