Vernon Montgomery scored 18 points, helping Wright State Lake notch a 97-81 victory over Cincinnati Christian - JV on Wednesday. 

Putting up a 52-32 lead at the half, Lakers scored points early in the game. 

Montgomery attacked the net right off the bat for Wright State Lake, scoring 13 points in the first half.

Ronmel Hicks (17 points) and Austin James (12 points) each sunk multiple three-pointers. Two other players also added ten or more points for Wright State Lake.  Josh Florence had 15 points and Darion Rockhold scored 10 points. Also chipping in for Wright State Lake were DaeShawn Beasley (9 points), Marquis Wilson (5 points, 2 rebounds), Chris Bozeman (4 points, 1 rebound), Nick Jones (3 points), Tyler Sullivan(2 points), and Cj Taylor (2 points). 
Wright State Lake finished the game with 32 rebounds (12 offensive / 20 defensive).
