The Wright State Lake Men's Basketball team accomplished another milestone this season when Chaz Painter, Matt Bihn and David Swillum all were named to the USCAA Academic All American Team. Student-athletes must maintain a minimum of a 3.5 GPA to be named to the Academic All American Team. Painter, Bihn and Swillum are the first Wright State Lake Men's Basketball Student-athletes to be named to the All Academic team. Coach Richard Westerlund said this about the accomplishment, "We are very proud of all of these guys. Our goal is to raise the bar academically for our program and these guys really committed to being elite in the classroom. We want more guys following in these guys footsteps. I am very proud of these guys. They are paving the way for so many other student-athletes to also achieve this."
