WSULC Lakers fell to Mount Vernon Nazarene 9-4.

Arledge got the win for Mount Vernon Nazarene. He allowed four runs over six innings. Arledge struck out one, walked four and gave up six hits.

Austin Baumgardner ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked three and struck out two.

WSULC Lakers jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first. The WSULC Lakers attack began with a single from Colton Nealeigh. A single by Isaac Fitzgerald then moved Nealeigh from first to second. WSULC Lakers pushed more runs across when Fitzgerald and Becker scored on a two-run double by Andrew Lundvall.

The game was never in doubt after the third, as Mount Vernon Nazarene scored five runs on a two-run double by Patten and two singles.

Mount Vernon Nazarene tacked on another three runs in the fifth. The inning got off to a hot start when E Montero singled, scoring Carreras.
