The Lakers two wins Sunday help them improve to 6-1 on the season including six wins in a row. Coach Chad Geier said this about Sunday's performance, "I am proud of my guys. Defensively we played very well. Guys made some great plays in the outfield. We got a chance to get everyone time today, which is important. 6-1 is the best start this program has had. We will prepare this week and get ready for a big trip as we depart Wednesday for a 5 game Tennessee trip."
