Lakers take 3 from Robert Morris-S'Field

Despite the weather the Lakers mananged to play three games against USCAA foe Robert Morris- Springfield taking all three games by the scores of 16-5, 13-3, and 12-1. In Game 1 Noah Greathouse led the hit parade with 4 RBI's. Lawrence Hines and Dustin Lewis had 3 RBI's each. Brennan Meyers, Isaac Fitzgerald, Carter Cooper and Connor Burr had 2 RBI's each. Lucas Sheriff (3-1) pitched 4.0 innings giving up 5 hits and 2 earned runs. Christian Hupp pitched an inning and gave up 3 runs. In Game 2 the Lakers broke out the hot bats again. Greathouse also led this game in RBI's with 3. Burr, Fitzgerald, Hines had 2 RBI's. Brennan Meyers, Nolan McWhorter and Austin Shinabery had 1 apiece.  Greathouse (2-0) also pitched giving up only one hit no earned runs in 4 innings of work. Parker Link pitched 2 innings giving up 4 hits and 2 earned runs. In Game 3 Cross Youtsler (3-0) pitched 5 strong innings giving up 4 hits and only one run. Anthony Steele had 3 RBI's. Hines, Meyers and Kyle Mills had 2 RBI's apiece. Burr, Cooper and Fitzgerald 1 apiece. The Lakers now 13-2 on the season travel to Urbana for a single 9 game on Wednesday 4-3 and a home and home weekend series 4-6 thru 4-7 against USCAA rival UC-Clermont.
